Surfing Croyde Bay at Sunset

We hit Croyde Bay for the weekend and it was the perfect opportunity to get the drone out. After some small waves, the guys all got out and cracked on with a bbq at the end of our friend Ed's garden (a sick little spot right next to a little cliff overlooking the whole bay). We were chatting to this guy Paul, a Kiwi national surf team rider who met earlier that day and offered up his driveway for him to park for the night. As we were chatting I noticed the surf was picking up. I suggested, half joking, that he got back in so I could get the drone out. He took a couple of seconds looking at the surf and was like "yeah alright" which was unexpected. Ed decided he couldn't let him go alone despite the fact he was a bit under the weather. So they got going, I got the drone out having already had a few beers by this point. I was stoked with the footage and it was probably the highlight of the weekend.
